As outlined during the bid process, Guildmore and Curzon’s vision is to secure the restoration of the Playtower by delivering a mixed-use scheme of homes, community and commercial uses on-site.

This approach will allow for the costs to restore the Playtower (estimated to be in excess of £7 million) to be funded by the financial value gained from the new development.

Our current proposal is for:
• A four-screen Curzon cinema within the Playtower, with associated bar

• A restaurant/cafe within the Playtower

• Affordable workspace for local residents

• 33 homes in two carefully-designed buildings to the east and south of the Playtower
